Data Sources and Methodology
Source methodology
Player profiles identify the source and date used for the latest verification. Initial factual settings may be collected from ProSettings player pages. Third-party editorial text and media are not republished.
Quality controls
A record is publishable only when it contains a valid five-part CSGO share code. Automated imports also require a confidence score of at least 70 when a score is supplied. Settings are normalized into individual fields for filtering and comparison.
Update history
When a later import contains a different code, the previous version remains in the player’s public change history. A last-checked date does not guarantee that the player has not changed settings since that date.
