CS2 import guide
How to import a CS2 crosshair code
Use this walkthrough to import, input, or put a crosshair code into Counter-Strike 2 when Share/Import is not obvious or the code is not saving.
How to put a crosshair code in CS2
- Copy a valid share code
Copy a CSGO-… share code from a player page or friend. A valid code has five hyphen-separated segments after CSGO-. - Open CS2 crosshair settings
Launch Counter-Strike 2 and go to Settings → Game → Crosshair. - Open Share or Import
In the crosshair preview area, click Share or Import. - Paste and import
Paste the code, click Import, then confirm the preview looks right before closing settings.
How to import vs how to copy
Copying gets the code onto your clipboard. Importing pastes that code into CS2. If you need both steps, also read the how-to-copy guide.
Why CS2 codes still start with CSGO
Counter-Strike 2 kept the CS:GO share-code format. A code that starts with CSGO- is expected and imports correctly in CS2.
If the import does not save
Confirm the code was copied without spaces, re-open Share/Import, paste again, and click Import once. Then leave the settings menu so the change can persist.
